Mill Creek Tavern in Comstock Park

We live very close to Mill Creek Tavern. We go there Monday nights for their $5.00 burger night and Wednesday for 50 cent wing night. The burgers and wings are very good, Recommend the mill creek Burger! That said the service can be slow, very slow, Very very slow. And it can get VERY LOUD!!! yes I'm shouting, to talk across the table. I would give them 5 stars if not for the long wait times for food and loud environment. 2 Cents Please

Had several things wrong with our order. The service was good and fast. Prices were pretty high considering the quality of food you get.

Excellent bacon cheeseburger and great selection of local Michigan craft beer. Home made chips that come with a lot of meals are very tasty.

I and my first date with this lady had a great time would go there again very nice place it got to loud in the evening but still a nice place service was great

We went here Saturday night for my mom's birthday and it was all around such a disappointing experience. Our server acted like she cared less about us. First my sister's drink was wrong..no biggie but I finally had to walk to the bar to fix it. Then 3 out of 4 food orders were wrong. Our burgers were quite over cooked. There were regulars at the bar who were obviously getting all the good service from the waitress which I understand bc I'm a bartender myself but we were literally the only other table in there and we just felt really uncomfortable. Like we were more trouble than anything I'm really upset I wasted my mom's birthday dinner here.

Good food and drink prices. Good menu variety. Not always the friendliest service late afternoon hours until we had GWEN yesterday! BEST waitress we've ever had for happy hour! Thank you!

Food was fresh and hot. Huge portions. Seated quickly, even for a Saturday night. Homely and quiet here. An amazing selection of on tap beers.

This is a place for locals. The food is really good and of course they have great beverages. This is in a wonderful historic building. It has a great vibe. Everyone is super nice and chilled. Not real noisy here either. The servers are very attentive. Never have to wait for a drink even on busy nights. I enjoy gong here every time I am in town. This is a don't miss location.

Authentic hometown atmosphere. Wait staff were great (attentive dut did not hover). Food was impressive- I ordered a steak quesadilla and was asked how I wanted the steak cooked. Meal was very good. Will eat here again.

A bit slow but the place was full with only two servers, including the bartender. We were there on a Monday for lunch. Was expected though, all burgers are $5 on Mondays. Best deal in town that i know of for a burger on Mondays.

Service was pretty terrible. We ordered something...they didn’t have it. Ordered another thing...they didn’t have it. Drink specials as advertised were not what they charged us on final bill. Bloody Mary was boring and watered down (one pickle and one olive floating at the bottom, kind of sad). Been sitting here for a while and no reason for delay as we’re one of the only parties here. This place used to be great, hopefully they get it back together.

Great pub food, amazing sandwiches when prepared right. One of our 4 dishes was prepared wrong.

My God, hire some help! We come every Monday night and tonight was the worst.And we were a party of 8. Pay premium for "on call" help. We don't really want to hafta choose another restaurant.

Great place and atmosphere. We used the Flamingo Room for a private party and the staff was wonderful and as always the food was great. We had our own private bartenders (2). Really can't say enough.

I've been here a couple times now and have always had good experiences. Be it lunch out with the co-workers or drinks after work, to totally different purposes, these guys took great care of us. If you have a big enough group, reserve the Flamingo Room in the back.

It was loud, as some have said, but we were able to talk just fine and the place was full of mostly non-drunk people. Wife had the fish special and really liked it. I had the steak special and it was VERY good. Both meals were $11 each. I was disappointed that there was a $3.50 upcharge for Tavern Fries and the waitress didn't warn me, after talking me into them. The peanut butter pie was a good finish.

Absolutely, one of the best places to eat in Comstock Park. Very friendly staff and great waitresses. She replaced my water today without me asking or noticing. The food is to die for. I had the Man Burger and was not disappointed. Didn't add anything to it. Cheers and enjoy!

Their food is absolutely delicious! Our waitresses are always smiling with a good sense of humor. The cooks actually know how to cook.

For lunch this place is 3 stars. It's got an eclectic menu and the food is 3 stars worthy- decent but not amazing. I would never choose to go here for dinner or drinks. It doesn't have much ambiance and doesn't seem that clean or well taken care of. In a city with lots of options, this wouldn't make my list.

This is a great place to stop for a beer and a burger, just had the"man" burger, it's a must try!
